Wilder Thread
An eco-conscious identity for a direct-to-consumer fashion label — transparent, natural, and unmistakably modern.
The Brief
Wilder Thread launched with honest materials and a transparent supply chain — but its look said otherwise. The founding team needed an identity that could carry sustainability without the usual muted clichés, and stand out in a crowded direct-to-consumer market.
The identity had to work hard: packaging, hang tags, a scrappy launch site, and social templates the small team could run themselves. Every decision was weighed against two questions — does it feel natural, and does it feel now?
What the Identity Includes
We built the system around a wordmark with organic, hand-tuned letterforms, an earth-led palette lifted from undyed fibers and botanical color, and photography direction that favors daylight, texture, and real bodies.
- Positioning, naming polish, and voice principles
- Primary wordmark, monogram, and care-label mini-mark
- Natural-material palette with digital-first accents
- Packaging, hang-tag, and tissue-paper system
- Launch-site styles and self-serve social templates
“Their process was a revelation. They didn’t just design a logo; they gave our company its voice and its heart.”Mateo Dubois — Founder of Wilder Thread
